Software Engineer

Role Overview

NCR Atleos is a leader in expanding financial access, optimizing branch operations and maximizing self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers globally. We are seeking a professional to produce high-quality software solutions within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality Software Solutions.
• Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices.
• Provide input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials and customer training.
• Assist in estimating task effort and dependencies, and remain responsible for team commitments within the Sprint as a scrum team member.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems involving complex systems.
• Work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional members.

Requirements

• Experience with software design, development and deployment, and object-oriented software development.
• Practical experience integrating AI/Machine Learning (ML) capabilities into software using APIs or libraries.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI limitations, and responsible use.
• Good understanding of Windows Operating systems.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
