Mechanical Engineer Intern

Role Overview

Novixpert Tech Inc. is a product-based tech company working in Computer Vision, Edge AI, Machine Learning, and intelligent hardware. We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer Intern to work on the mechanical side of hardware and product development: CAD modelling, prototyping, enclosures, and mechanical integration with electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, mounts, brackets, and assemblies.
• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD models.
• Assist with prototyping, measurements, assembly, and testing; identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Assist in material selection and manufacturing considerations.
• Prepare and maintain technical drawings, BOMs, and other engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with electronics and software teams on hardware integration.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of mechanical design and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD/FreeCAD.
• Understanding of 3D modelling, technical drawings, materials, geometrical analysis and manufacturing processes.
• Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on interest in hardware/product development.
