Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer – Fresher to join our testing team. The candidate should have a good understanding of Manual Testing, Selenium Automation, Java, API Testing, and SQL and should be interested in testing real-world E-Commerce applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
- Test positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects.
- Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing.
- Develop basic Selenium automation scripts using Java.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries.
- Work with developers and QA team members to resolve defects.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.
- Ability to prepare Test Cases & Test Scenarios.
- Knowledge of Manual Testing techniques (Smoke, Sanity, Regression, etc.).
- Familiarity with Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG.
- Understanding of API Testing and SQL.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
